About the CCS
The Government of Manitoba has appointed the Conseil communauté en santé du Manitoba (CCS) as the official representative of the francophone community in the areas of health and social services. The CSS assumes a leadership and coordination role in fostering access to quality French language services in the health and social services sectors.
CCS activities focus on primary health based on the definition of the term “health” agreed upon by the World Health Organization: “Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”
