Physiotherapist
YOUR JOB is to work with injured and disabled patients, planning and carrying out physical treatments that help restore mobility, relieve pain, promote healing and prevent or limit disability. You are an integral part of the health care team, and your work includes measuring and assessing the musculoskeletal, neurological, pulmonary and cardiovascular systems.
YOU CAN WORK IN hospitals, extended care homes, therapy clinics, rehabilitation centres, long-term care facilities and private clinics.
YOUR EDUCATION INCLUDES completion of Senior 4 with course requirements to enter University plus graduation from a physiotherapy program at a university (4 years).
